Cantine Agriverde is based near the historic village of Caldari in Abruzzo, close to the Adriatic influence of the Ortona hills. The winery traces its family story to the early 1800s; importer materials state Camillo di Carlo founded Agriverde in 1830 and that the property is now run by Giannicola Di Carlo with Federico and Daniele. Agriverde converted production to organic methods in the 1980s and received ICEA organic certification, making it one of Italy's early organic wineries. The Natum line is presented by the winery as its historic organic line, first produced in 1990, with Bio-Vegan positioning.
