Who we are

WineDiscounts.com is the online wine shop of Hardy’s Discount Liquors, a New Jersey retail store. This policy explains what information we collect when you shop with us and how we use it.

What we collect

Orders. When you place an order we collect your name, email, phone number, and delivery address so we can fulfill and ship it. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal — your card details go directly to them and are never stored on our servers.

Accounts. If you create a free account, we store the sign-in details you choose (such as the email from your Google account or the email/phone you verify with a code), your first name, saved favorites, your cart, and your delivery addresses.

Shopping activity.To personalize the store, we keep track of wines you view, search for, save, add to your cart, and purchase. This is what powers your Wine Profile and recommendations like “Picked for You.”

How we use it

We use your information to fulfill orders, provide customer service, keep your cart and favorites in sync across your devices, and make your recommendations more relevant over time. We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with third parties except the services needed to run the store (payment processing, shipping carriers, and email/SMS delivery for sign-in codes and order updates).

Sign-in with Google

If you choose “Continue with Google,” we receive only your basic profile — your name and email address — to create or sign in to your WineDiscounts account. We never see your Google password and cannot access anything else in your Google account.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and delivery preferences, and understand how the store is used. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can shop without an account. If you have one, you can edit your taste preferences, switch personalized recommendations off, or clear your recommendation history anytime in My Wine Profile, and manage your details in Account Settings. To delete your account and its data, contact us and we’ll take care of it.

Age requirement

WineDiscounts.com sells alcohol and is intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
