Farmhouse is a Cline Cellars label focused on clean, sustainably minded California blends. Cline Family Cellars was founded by Fred and Nancy Cline in 1982 in Oakley, California, and later moved to a 350-acre former horse farm in Sonoma-Carneros. The Cline family is known for Rhône varieties as well as California classics, and the winery emphasizes sustainability, cover crops, compost teas and avoiding pesticides and herbicides in vineyard farming. Cline states that its vineyards and winery are Certified California Sustainable and Sonoma County Sustainable, and that its wines are vegan and gluten free.
