Donati Family Vineyard is a family-owned Paso Robles producer with roots in an Italian-American family wine tradition. The Donati family entered the wine business in 1998 with a vineyard purchase in Paicines and later purchased a winery in Templeton in 2007. Current distributor materials state that in 2017 the winery moved to focus on the Paso Robles AVA through contracted fruit. The portfolio is centered on Bordeaux varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot, with Briana Heywood serving as head winemaker.
