About the winery · Loosen Bros. ›

Loosen Bros., or Gebruder Loosen, is the project of Ernst Loosen of the Dr. Loosen estate and his brother Thomas. The brothers work with small Mosel growers to make an introductory range of wines that shows the region's delicate, racy Riesling style. Dr. L Riesling is positioned as their Mosel and Riesling ambassador, with fruit-driven character, low alcohol and crisp acidity. The wines are vinified by the same cellar team responsible for the Dr. Loosen estate wines.
