Fresh raspberry, red cherry, a little blackberry, mint, and gentle spice, with a smooth, lightly grippy finish.
Choose this if you like lighter reds such as Beaujolais, young Pinot Noir, or Loire Cabernet Franc, especially when served slightly chilled.
It gives you true cru Beaujolais character at an accessible price: bright fruit, freshness, and enough structure for food.
Charcuterie, grilled sausages, roast chicken, burgers, bistro salads, and weeknight dinners where a heavy red would be too much.
Dry, medium-bodied cru Beaujolais with bright acidity, silky tannins, and a red-fruited, lightly spicy profile.
Cru Beaujolais, lighter red Burgundy, cool-climate Gamay, lighter Loire reds
Approachable for new red-wine drinkers, but still interesting for Gamay and Beaujolais fans.
grilled meat · charcuterie board · semi-firm cheeses · roast chicken or guinea hen
Guidance partly estimated by WineDiscounts from the wine’s style.
A cru Beaujolais made from Gamay, this Julienas leans fresh and silky with red-fruit aromas, raspberry, minty lift, spice, and gentle tannins. It is an easygoing but structured red for charcuterie, grilled meats, roast poultry, and cheeses.

Maison Louis Latour moved into Beaujolais in 2008 and its Beaujolais presence is closely tied to Henry Fessy's domaine. The producer describes the heart of Henry Fessy's domaine on the Plateau de Bel-Air in the Brouilly area, where granite-schist soils and a sunny microclimate shape fruity, silky Gamay-based wines. The estate emphasizes hand work, respect for nature, limited yields, and traditional vinification rather than carbonic maceration. Current Maison Louis Latour Julienas appears to represent the same Beaujolais cru style historically sold in the U.S. under the Henry Fessy name.
