Sharrott Winery is based in Hammonton, New Jersey, in the Outer Coastal Plain AVA. International Wine Review reports that Larry Sharrott Jr. and Larry III began planting grapes in 2005 after purchasing a former apple orchard in the Pine Barrens, with the tasting room opening in 2008. The winery makes wines from both vinifera and French hybrid varieties, including Vignoles.
