Franklin Hill Vineyards is based in Bangor, Pennsylvania, overlooking the Delaware River Valley. Founder Elaine Pivinski planted some of the early wine grapes in the region, and the winery states that Franklin Hill became the first winery in the Lehigh Valley in 1982. The winery identifies Bonnie Pysher as its longtime head winemaker. Franklin Hill also notes responsible farming practices and solar panels powering part of its operation.
