Cambria Estate Winery is a Santa Maria Valley estate founded after Barbara Banke and Jess Jackson purchased the Tepusquet Vineyard in 1986. The estate traces part of its vineyard history to Tepusquet Vineyard, planted in 1971 and among the early important vineyards of the Santa Maria Valley. The winery focuses strongly on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir shaped by coastal influence, cool breezes, and site-specific blocks. Jill Russell is the head winemaker, and the producer emphasizes sustainable farming and cellar practices.
