Conundrum Wines traces its style to the Wagner family, whose Caymus co-founder Charlie Wagner Sr. experimented with blending wines at the dinner table. Conundrum White debuted in 1989 and became known for a tropical, versatile California white-blend style. The brand sources fruit from both well-known and less expected California areas, including Napa, Monterey, Santa Barbara, San Benito, Solano and Tulare Counties. Today the wines remain positioned as approachable, food-friendly blends rather than single-varietal bottlings.
