About the winery · Sur de los Andes ›

Sur de los Andes began in 2005 with the vision of Guillermo Banfi, a Franco-Argentine economist who moved from finance into wine. The winery is based at the foot of the Andes in Las Compuertas, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. Its range focuses on Argentine varieties and international grapes, with fruit selected from privileged vineyard areas including Lujan de Cuyo and Valle de Uco. The producer describes its approach as combining professional know-how with traditional winemaking craft.
