Chateau d'Esclans is located in Provence on elevated land near the Gorges de Pennafort, northwest of Frejus and not far from the Mediterranean. Sacha Lichine acquired the estate in 2006 and built a rose-focused portfolio that includes Whispering Angel, Rock Angel, Les Clans and Garrus. The winery emphasizes modern rose production, careful grape sorting and temperature-controlled cellar work. Bertrand Leon leads the technical direction, while long-time cellar master Jean-Claude Neu has been in place since the launch period of Chateau d'Esclans and Whispering Angel.
