Beaulieu Vineyard was founded in Rutherford, Napa Valley, and the winery today markets itself on more than 125 years of Napa Valley winemaking, anchored by its historic Rutherford estate and the Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Its reputation was shaped in the mid-20th century under legendary winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff, whose influence the winery still celebrates in its visitor tastings. Coastal Estates is BV's broad-sourced, value-priced California line, separate from the Napa Valley and Rutherford bottlings that carry the estate's name. The Coastal Estates wines are deliberately built to be fruit-forward and approachable, using fruit gathered from vineyards around the state.
