About the winery · Bonanza ›

Bonanza is part of the Wagner family wine portfolio, the family behind Caymus Vineyards. The Wagners trace their Napa Valley farming and winemaking roots to the 1850s, and Charlie, Lorna and Chuck Wagner established Caymus Vineyards in 1972. Bonanza began as a California-appellation Cabernet Sauvignon inspired by Charlie Wagner Sr.'s enjoyment of a good glass of wine with everyday meals. The Chardonnay extends the Bonanza idea into a fresh, accessible California white, with Charlie Wagner continuing the family tradition.
