J. Lohr Estates Los Osos Merlot is a juicy Paso Robles red with plum, currant, violet, black cherry, baking spice, cocoa, and peppery accents. Supple tannins and a gentle touch of American oak make it an easy match for grilled foods, sausages, and creamy pasta.

J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines was founded by Jerry Lohr, an early Central Coast pioneer who helped establish Monterey and Paso Robles as important California winegrowing regions. The winery planted in Monterey's Arroyo Seco in the early 1970s and expanded to Paso Robles in 1986 for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and other red varieties. Today J. Lohr farms estate vineyards in Monterey County, Paso Robles, and Napa Valley, with Paso Robles as the source for nearly all of its red wines. The company remains family-owned and operated.
