Sutter Home Family Vineyards is part of the Trinchero family's California wine story. The winery traces its origins to the Sutter Home Winery founded in 1890 and reopened by the Trinchero family in 1948. Sutter Home credits Bob Trinchero's 1970s experiments with saignee and a later stuck fermentation for creating the popular sweet, pink White Zinfandel style.
