Sutter Home is part of the Trinchero family's California wine story. The Sutter Home Winery was founded in 1890, closed during Prohibition, and was reopened by the Trinchero family in 1948. The brand became especially known for White Zinfandel in the 1970s and grew into a broad portfolio of more than 20 crowd-pleasing varieties. Its stated philosophy is to make enjoyable wines at a fair price.
