About the winery · Terra d'Oro ›

Terra d'Oro is based in Amador County in California's Sierra Foothills. The winery traces its post-Prohibition roots to 1970, with the first Terra d'Oro wines released in 1973. The Trinchero family purchased the winery and vineyard in 1988, later investing in additional vineyards and a modern winery. Terra d'Oro now farms more than 800 acres across Amador County and the Clarksburg AVA, with Amador especially associated with Zinfandel and other rich reds.
