Leviathan was founded in 2004 by winemaker Andy Erickson with the goal of making one Cabernet-driven wine each vintage without being limited to a single appellation. The wine draws from carefully selected sites across Northern California, with emphasis on mountain and volcanic-soil vineyards. The team, including grower-relations director Nicole Hayden, works with long-standing grower partners and adjusts the blend each year for balance, power, and complexity.
