Verified scores from the publication named on each bottle.
Savings are calculated from the compare-at price recorded for each bottle.
A bottle appears on this page only when its current web price sits below a compare-at price recorded for it, so the saving is a real markdown against a real previous price rather than a label printed to look like one. The list rebuilds from live inventory, which is why a deal can disappear the moment the last bottle sells.
The deepest discounts tend to come from vintage changes, when a producer's new release arrives and the previous year moves out at a lower price, and from end-of-bin lots where only a few cases remain. Neither says anything bad about the wine; a Cabernet from the earlier vintage is often the better drink today.
The percentage on each card is measured against the compare-at price, the dollar figure beneath it is what stays in your pocket per bottle, and both follow the live price, so the number you see is the number you pay at checkout before shipping and any tax your state applies.
